After a very wet and windy Bank Holiday when several events were cancelled, the club was back in action last weekend. This was Jane’s first time trial and unfortunately she went off course on the first circuit and lost valuable time.
Nearer home, on the Amersham Road the West London Combine held a 25 mile event and Melissa Arkinstall finished in a personal best time of 1.11.02. Chris James recorded 1.14.16. Mike Eddleston failed to finish as he crashed when negotiating a roundabout sustaining cuts and bruises.
