Jayne on the top step of the podium as National 2km Pursuit track champion
Last weekend the Masters National Track Championships were held in Newport, at the Geraint Thomas National Velodrome of Wales.
The Masters was so packed full of championships, that it took four days to run all of the disciplines and heats. Jayne Paine cemented her dominance in the 2km Pursuit with a sizzling time of 2:32.136 to secure the National Championships for the 55-59 age group. It was the second best time out of all the age groups, only beaten by 35 year old Charlotte Parnham. Go Jayne!
Congratulations also to Willesden’s Tony Woodford who has been successfully coaching Jayne to her stack of trophies.
