TT report – 5/6 June – UPDATED

Saturday
Peter Cookson did a 1:00:41 in the Oxonian CC ’25’ on the H25/17S for 20th place. David Johnson (VC10) won it in 55:28.

I rode the West London CA ’30’ at Bentley (H30/8) and recorded a PB of 1:12:44 for this increasingly rarely run distance –  a 3½ minute improvement on last year’s effort. The event was won by Julian Jenkinson (Utag Yamaha.com) in 1:2:33. It was a hot and not too breezy day.

Sunday
From FaceBook: “Peter Dixon smashes his PB with a 54:40 at the Hitchin Nomads 25 on the F1/25b to take 5th place. Jumbo did a detour and got 1:07:46.” That’s a stunning ride. Well done, Peter. Rob Weare (Leamington C&AC) won in 52:30.

Coming Up
Thinking about entering TTs for the weekend of 26/27 June?
Don’t forget that the WCC circuit racing championships are on the Saturday (including, I believe, a TT and TTT).
On Saturday 26th June there’s a middle markers Hertfordshire Whs ’10’ on the fast F20/10. There’s also a Newbury RC ’10’ on the H10/1.
On the Sunday there’s the WLC ’50’ starting at Great Missenden (entries for this to me please). There’s also a Hemel Hempstead ’25’ on the F13/25 and the ECCA ‘100’ on the E2/100C.
