Many of us in the Willeden will know John Harwood, he rode with us on the 2003 Paris-Brest. This year he has site his sights much further afield and is cycling from his home town in Oxfordshire to Australia.
John has been keeping a very witty blog to record his adventures as he pedals his away across the planet. I have been reading his entries each day but I’m not gaining on him! He’s still countless countries and a continent ahead of me. From now on I shall be known as Thousand Miles Back. Latest reports are that John is in India, whilst I’m still reading his blog as he is rather worringly heading north through the old Russian empire??!!Has he borrowed Mel’s compass?
