That is a load of pants. Romanticised, idyllic, unrealistic views of cycling. I didn’t have the sound up but I imagine the track playing was “Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head”. I am off to have a basket fitted to my handlebars to carry flowers and perhaps a puppy.
It is always advisable to carry a puppy when cycling as they are a good source of energy and protein. Lab tests have shown this to be true (though other breeds are available).
