Samaitans Cycle Sportive – 29th June 2019

I am part of the team that organise the Samaritans Cycle Ride in West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
We are a stone’s throw away from London. I am contacting all the cycling clubs I can find and ask them to tell their members of our charity cycling event.

The Samaritans Cycle Sportive is now in its third year and is firmly established as one of the best value sportive events in the Chilterns and is situated on London’s doorstep. With all proceeds going to the Chiltern Samaritans.

All entrants completing any of the 3 routes will receive a free glass of local Ale, a free burger, a shiny medal and during the ride, enjoy wonderful free feed stations and to take in the glorious Chilterns area of outstanding natural beauty scenery together with chipped timing. (the chipped timing will also put riders into Gold, Silver or Bronze for their times/age). Tickets from only £15 !!

The Samaritans Cycle Charity sportive consists of 3 routes, 20, 50 & 80 miles. The 50 & 80 mile routes include the infamous Whiteleaf Hill and the Whiteleaf Challenge when the fastest of the day will get the Whiteleaf Challenge trophy.

All three routes have excellent route management, which includes chip timing, gpx file, signage and marshals on the day.

I am also part of Amersham Cycling club and other members of the team are Wycombe Cycling Club, so any events you need promoting to other clubs, please contact me and we can distribute to our clubs and advertise them on our websites.

Many thanks,
Peter Hart
