We have received correspondence from fellow cyclists about a petition containing nearly 3,000 signatures campaigning against Ride London, sportives, and cycling in general across Surrey.

Surrey roads are packed with motor vehicles so it makes a change albeit just for one or two days in the year for roads to be closed just for cycling events; how refreshing that is. Motorists should learn to share and be less mean and selfish, put their cars away and go rambling in their County, they may realise what they have been missing !
