The Willesden have been very busy this week as well as taking part in events we have been responsible for organising three of them!

On Wednesday Ian & Pauline Why ran the 110 Km Audax event from Boullters Lock with over 40 riders taking part. Sunday the club organised the West London Combine 25 mile time trial with 63 entries on the Amersham Road while Ray Kelly ran the 2nd Go Ride event at Malorees School in which 21 children took part.

On the Racing front Alex Pierce, supported by a good backup team, won the 4th cat race at Hillingdon on Tuesday evening. Connor Woodford was 4th and Daryl Lusardi 6th with Simon Passy and Graham Simpson (10th) finishing in the main bunch. Sam Grant rode in the E/1/2/3 event and finished in the top 20 in the bunch sprint.

Alex rode at the first night of Welwyn Track League on Friday gaining 2nd place in the Points race and 3rd in the Elimination.

Jayne Paine went down to the Gravesend Cyclo Park to ride in a 40 mile event for 1st cat riders only to find she was the only female so she rode round with a young 3rd Cat rider giving her coaching tips!

Gill Reynolds rode the Banjo C.C. 10 mile timetrial at Maidenhaed on Saturday afternoon recording 26.46 and Brian Moon finishing in 29.19. She returned to the same course on Sunday morning to ride the Westerley C.C. event and although the weather was much colder returned in 26.23.
