The membership of the Willesden cycling club extends beyond West London and we have members with connections with Japan. I am pleased to say that Vyvien Baker has heard from Akiko Kawachi who lives in Tokyo. Akiko is fine and her family are also ok, though she says her country has been devastated.
Yoshi Sekido was on the UK evening news on Friday saying that he was unable to contact his family in Japan. However on Saturday Vyv heard that he has successfully managed to contact them and they too are all ok.
