Calling all London Cyclists

London cyclists are invited to have a free vision test this Wednesday 2 June at 8.30am to celebrate the launch of the Eye Cycle Safe campaign. Created by Transitions® adaptive lenses and the CTC, Eye Cycle Safe aims to encourage cyclists to take care of their eyes and wear the appropriate eyewear. The launch, which will be attended by national media, will take place at The Cockpit in London’s Hyde Park (please follow this link to find a map of Hyde Park) where cyclists can have their vision screened and take away a voucher for a free eye examination for them and their family.

A limited number of places are also available for cyclists to take on a charity challenge to cycle ‘home’, however far that may be. For every mile they ride, Transitions will donate £1 to the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (capped at £100/100 miles). If you would like to take on the charity challenge, please email caroline@dsapr.co.uk.

For more information and updates on the campaign follow Eye Cycle Safe on Twitter (@EyeCycleSafe) or find us on Facebook under ‘Eye Cycle Safe’.
